  • Just when I thought I had my house together and could rest, we got another surprise issue. While we take are of that issue here’s Harper’s updated big girl room. She graduated from new toddler bed (that she never slept in) to a shinny new daybed. I wanted to maximize her play space and a daybed was the best option. There’s also a trundle underneath so it was perfect while we hosted guests during Thanksgiving. #toddlerroomdecor #bohodecor

  • Y’all don’t know how happy I am to have regular living conditions in my house. I’ve lived here for 5 years and just now decorating my dining room. We had to switch out the chandelier, repair the ceiling and paint. It’s about 80% done. Waiting on a rug and curtains to be delivered today. I don’t really want a rug but i think all the wood calls for one. I’ll share a detailed post and before and after on the blog soon (before it gets messed up). I’ll be cleaning the rest of my house all weekend. Anyone what to help? 🧹 #heytrinashome #heytrina

Family Outfits for Disney World

May 12, 2016

Quick disclosure.  This post was intended to be live before we left for Disney World, but the way my life is setup, it didn’t happen.  I still wanted to share because if you’re anything like me, when the word vacation comes up you start thinking about what to wear.  I knew I didn’t want to do the whole family t-shirt thing (but I did think about it), I went with coordinating Disney’ish outfits for the family.

Luggage c/o American TouristerDisney Harper

Harper: Minnie Mouse tutu, Disney Store | Minnie Ears ($3), JCPenney |  Custom chucks (gift)Disney Peyton 1

Peyton: Tee and ears, JC Penney | Shorts, Target | Aviators, LoveMyAlannah | Adidas, Famous FootwearDisney Peyton trina

Hat, Target (mens) | Tank, F21 | Sunglasses, Nordstrom | Lipgloss, Colour Pop | Fanny Pack, Nordstrom | Shorts, Old Navy | Shoes, Bucket Feet

Disney Larry

Mickey Tee, Kohl’s | Aviators, H&M |  Joe’s Jeans | Camera, Nikon CoolPix

I think I did a decent job of getting in the Disney spirit without looking like Mickey Mouse threw up in our suitcase.  These outfits were intended for our day at Magic Kingdom.  Of course, things change. You can see what we actually wore HERE.  My fanny pack was so cute and handy.  I wore it to the grocery store when I returned from Disney World.

One thing that I would suggest is to definitely bring two outfits per day and then two extra.  You’ll probably want to change before dinner after being in the parks all day.  Between being hot and getting dirty, Peyton changed clothes so much that she only had one shirt left to wear on the last day.  The shopaholic that I am, I almost went into panic mode.  If you have any packing tips, please share.

You did awesome! Love the outfits and the coordination. I always pack at least 2 extra outfits whenever I travel. That just in case factor.

Love the coordinating outfits! I always roll my clothes to fit more in the suitcase. I bring a laundry bag to separate the dirty from any clean clothes that were not worn. Traveling with little ones is a chore. Great job and hope the family had fun! 🙂
