Happy Hour Thrifting! Not Gonna Believe What I Got!

January 6, 2012

Last night Peyton and I decided check out Happy Hour Thrifing with Karen of Two Stylish Kays and Kerri from Virtuous Styls.  These jazzy ladies are experts in thrifting and you can use their styling service to assist you while you shop or just shop for you completely!

Kerrie found this cute, and I think new Mango dress for $2.50!  This line is currently sold at JC Pennys!

I found this wonderful black beaded jacket for $8.50.  I know that is expensive in a thrift store but these are going for $200 or $300 and more and the quality is not close to this.

I found this Hermes scarf for $2!  Bah- nan- nas!  This scarf retails for $400!  Now I just need to find a bag in a thrift store.

I got a 3 more dresses and a navy blazer.  I spent a total of $25!  What a great way to start off the year!  I am still not sold on thrifting for Peyton unless it has the tags.  I know…  But at least I find great deals for her.

Have you found any great thrift finds lately?

You got some really great pieces. Your reaction to finding the scarf was priceless :-). I had fun. I got two dresses and one bolero sweater for under $10. I can’t wait to go again when I don’t have to rush. As a first timer, I definitely suggest that you make sure to take your time when you go. You don’t want to miss out on any great finds.

Consignment shops are really great for finding clothes for kids. Consignment shops require that all clothing is washed or dry cleaned before it is even placed on the sales floor.

I haven’t really been to any thrift stores since I had JJ, but I’m hoping to get back into the swing of things and rack up some fab finds!

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but that is not an authentic Hermes scarf. Still a very pretty one though. Check this out in the future, it helped me! 🙂 http://sassyme.org/2011/12/how-to-spot-fake-hermes-scarf/
