Baby Fashions Weekend Style

Who’s Your Stylist?

June 28, 2016

I wanted to be a professional fashion stylist for as long as I could remember.  I went to Southern Illinois University because they were one of the only few schools that offered a fashion program.  After doing some research, I found out fashion designers didn’t make a lot of money, so I decided to major in marketing and get in to fashion as a buyer for a store or something like that.  Unfortunately, I ended up in the logistics field, a far cry from fashion.  But now I’m here with a mom and kids fashion blog.  You see, when God has a plan for you nothing can stop you.  Now I get to share my love for fashion not only for myself, but fashion for my kids.  I like to think my girls are lucky to have mom that happens to be a stylist.

Yes, I am a mommy stylist.  It’s the best job in the world!  The only downside is they don’t have a budget so I have to pay for all their clothes.  You know when they had on these shirts, I had to make sure I was looking the part because everyone looked at me after reading their shirts.  LOL!  It’s safe to say that all moms are a stylist.

And a wonderful stylist you are! I remember when I was 5 months pregnant and crying over not being able to find a suit for an interview, my husband was like, “Why don’t you ask the Babyshopaholic?” Clearly, I must have talked about you more than once in my household because I didn’t know he even knew who you were. I had to tell him that you post about cute clothes and not boring business suits.

I have that shirt for my little girl, and yes, I had to make sure I was open casket sharp when she rocked it. LOL! We’re so hard on ourselves. My thing is, I’ve had decades to be fly, it’s baby girls time to shine now.

Love the t-shirts! I agree being a mommy stylist is the best job. I even still style my 13 year old son. He doesn’t like to admit it but I definitely have style ?✨
