Weekend Style: Skate Party

April 15, 2013

Where do the weekends go?  I think I need to take a Monday off just to sleep (while Peyton’s at school).  Saturday Peyton and I went to one of my bestie son’s 2nd birthday skate party!  Two year old skating?  Peyton took a nap in the car on the way to the party so she was not in the mood when we got to the skating rink.  She was not feeling taking pictures.  I will make sure I take them before I leave the house next time!

Shirt, Baby Gap/ Skinny Jeans, Old Navy/ Gold Sandals, Old Navy/ Flower by Me

This is her GTFOOMF look!  LOL!
Let’s talk about this cute hair do!  I took out her twist and had no clue what I was going to do to her hair so I made something up.  It’s a bun with a bang pinned back.
There she is!  Did you know they had these skating helpers?  How cute!
At first Peyton wasn’t feeling it because she didn’t understand why she could not move and glide like the other kids.  Later she became a pro!  So happy they let me in the rink with my shoes otherwise Peyton and I would both be on the floor!
Here is the Birthday Boy Elijah!  Can’t believe he is two!  Check out his Sip-N-See HERE
How cool was that cake!

Here I am looking a hot sweaty mess after helping Peyton skate!  Rocking my Kate Spade Keds!

Do you skate?  Have you taken your kids skating?  What did you do this weekend?

Haha, that face is pretty cute though. I didn’t know that they had helpers for the little ones, I will keep that in mind the next time we go to a skate party!

Aww Peyton Poo…. we need a smile or two.

I’ve seen those skate helps and they are just the best. Some little kids get it in with those things.

    Loved her du.
