Peyton’s Bedroom Update & Mouse + Magpie Giveaway

June 15, 2017

It’s not often that Peyton’s room is photo worthy but once my items from Mouse + Magpie arrived, I was motived to bring her room back to life.  Mouse + Magpie is a carefully curated decor and furnishing company for kids with big imaginations.  Mouse + Magpie collections consist of artwork, throw pillows, lamps, clocks and sherpa blankets.  Peyton has a big personality and the only thing that is bigger than her personality is her imagination.  Peyton sees everything as an adventure ready to explore.  I’m happy that her room now reflects her big imagination and encourages her to dream big.  Mouse + Magpie has been so kind to allow me to give away a few items to one lucky reader.  Keep reading for giveaway details and more photos of Peyton’s room update.

The easiest and most budget friendly way to update a room is to start with the bed.  I was drawn to “Tree Pose” throw pillow because the character on the pillow was brown like Peyton.  I truly feel like the illustration is what the inside of Peyton’s mind would look like if I could see it.

I went with the uber soft “Jungle Dreams” sherpa blanket for the foot of the bed.  The colors were bold but also a contrast to her yellow comforter.   My favorite item from Mouse + Magpie is the “Lotus Pose” framed artwork.  The artwork is just gorgeous and it reminds me of Peyton. I picked the large size frame.  Even though I read the measurements, it was bigger than I expected.  It easily would have worked over Peyton’s bed but because it wasn’t a landscape photo.

If you’re looking to update your child’s room or planning a nursery, I encourage you to check out Mouse + Magpie for exclusive designs from international artists.  Each design tells a story and encourages children to dream big and let their imagination wonder.  I believe that encouraging kids use their imagination and dream big, they will follow their dreams as an adult.

Mouse + Magpie has been generous to give away a throw pillow and sherpa blanket of their choice ($135 value) to one Baby Shopaholic reader.  Giveaway is open to US shipping addresses only and you must be over 18 to enter.  Giveaway will end June 29th at 11:59 pm et.  Items are subject to availability.  Baby Shopaholic (Trina) is not responsible for lost or damaged items.  The winner will have 48 hours to respond once notified.
