  • It’s been a week y’all! I’m emotionally drained that living while black is a crime. I have a black husband that takes care of us and provides this beautiful home we live in. I also have to worry if he gets pulled over or “Karen” decides to call the police on him what the outcome would be. Or if it happens to me. Anyway, this weekend I decided I’m going to self care which means cleaning up. Take it easy on yourself. Take a break from social if you have to. I had to leave IG alone and go to Pinterest. It’s ok!
  • During these trying times, people have been going above and beyond and we want to thank them. #AD @Hallmark has beautiful cards to help us show our appreciation in a meaningful way. I think we can all agree that our appreciation for teachers is at an all-time high! I'll be sending this beautiful card to Peyton's 4th-grade teacher. As hard as homeschooling the last few months were, she was there even after hours to assist parents. Who would you like to send a special thanks to? You can purchase @hallmark cards online or grab a few when you're picking up essentials. #cardsdomore Link in profile
  • The before doesn’t usually look like this. Mister (bless his heart) has been cleaning the kitchen more and this is how he puts away the pans. I didn’t say nothing because I’m not trying to discourage him 😩. I just cleaned it up. He said it looks much better 😒. Looks like as long as he’s cleaning the kitchen I’ll just tidy up ever couple of days. We were supposed to get a custom system installed in this large corn cabinet but I never got around to it. This will do for now. PS, music stopped but you get the point 😆#quarantinecleaning #kitchenorganization
  • I miss outside 😩! If you know me in person you know I’m a extra-extrovert. Being out with the people shaking hands & kissing babies is what I do! I kinda miss finding something cute to wear like this @suakokobetty kimono and shorts look. I think I’m turning into an social media introvert. Y’all know how i feel about introverts 😒😂. I don’t post as much as I used because I like the human energy. I sure we will get passed this! How are y’all coping socially? I’ll add a swipe up to my look in my stories.
  • Had to bring Mr. out of retirement to show y’all the new black on black Superdad! Father’s Day is coming and they need this drip. Also BOGO sale going on for Memorial Day wknd. Link in profile. supermomculture.com
  • Glad that’s over 😩. School is out for Quarantine Summer! Not sure what we’re going to do but I’m just happy to not have to log in teams and scan homework! So proud of how Peyton handled these few months. She picked up a part time job with @supermomculture and got all her work done. In pray they will return in the fall 🙏🏿. 5th grade here we come!
  • I don’t know what today is but it’s always a good day for something with bacon in it! #AD Since every day feels like Blursday, I’m sharing details on my delicious Bacon Bagel sandwich on the blog! @nationalporkboard wants to help you beat the Blursday blues by sending you some pre-cooked bacon! Up to a 1000 people across the US will be selected! Follow @nationalporkboard for details. Head to the blog, link in profile for my #baconforblursday recipe. Let me know in the comments what’s your favorite dish with bacon?
  • When outside opens back up, I plan to have flawless skin! I have several affordable skincare products to share with you that I recently started using. Video features @pixibeauty @theordinary @versed and more! Book by @funmifetto. Do you have a new fave? Links to everything https://heytrina.com/shop/
  • Motherhood is something I wasn’t sure I wanted. Look at me now! I was missing my mom today but overall I had a good day. Thank you for all@the love! @supermomculture showed out and I know that was my mom shining down. Hope you all had a great Mother’s Day!
  • For Mother’s Day Sunday my mom would have a new sharp suit laid out and she would have me run around Atlanta looking for a hat to match. I miss my mom so much. I find comfort in knowing that the very best parts of me are because of her. I feel her with me every day. 🌹
  • You guys have held me down this past year! Words of encouragement and supporting @supermomculture. I want to say thank you! I know I’ve been quiet but I’ve been working getting orders out. Tonight we are going to celebrate US at 8pm on @supermomculture Live! Grab your drink of choice and join me! #ipartiedatsupermothersday #clubsupermomculture

Green Your Beauty Routine

March 5, 2018

Last weekend I had the honor of hosting an exclusive beauty event with Tata Harper at Neiman Marcus Atlanta. Tata Harper is a skincare line composed of highly effective and luxurious antiaging beauty products free of synthetic and chemical ingredients. I’m grateful that these beautiful ladies came out early that Saturday morning on short notice to green their beauty routine with me. Tata Harper treated us to mini facials so we could try all the new products. Keep reading to learn what our favorite products were and how you can be in the know about future events like this in Atlanta.

Neiman Marcus hosted us in their private room with this beautiful setup. The afternoon was filled with mimosas, delicious bites and new Tata Harper skincare products.

Tata Harper’s new Clarifying Cleanser just hit shelves a couple of weeks ago and we were one of the first to try it out. The Clarifying Cleanser was a crowd favorite. It left everyone’s skin feeling so fresh and so clean. Products just like these are normally found in your local facial shops around town. If you’re looking for an appointment with a creditable waxing company then, look no further an have a look into, waxingbyceleste.com.

One of the crowd favorites (and my personal favorite) was the Tata Harper Nourishing Oil Cleanser. I’ve been using this oil cleanser for the last year. It easily removes dirt and makeup without stripping your skin. If you wear a full face of makeup on the regular, Tata Harper Nourishing Oil Cleanser is a must have.

We all enjoyed another one of my favorites, the Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask. This mask leaves your skin with an instant fresh glow.

After our faces were squeaky clean, we got our green on with the Tata Harper Clarifying Mask. This complexion clearing treatment has an enzymatic peeling effect that helps mask the appearance of breakouts, redness, and excess sebum without drying or irritating the skin.

After we finished with our mini facials we headed up to the Tata Harper beauty counter with their beauty rep, Melissa in Neiman Marcus to pick up our gift bags and shop. I’m happy to share that she sold out of the new Clarifying Cleanser. The Atlanta store should be restocked but you can also purchase online HERE.

I want to thank everyone that came out and spent their Saturday with me. Thank you to Neiman Marcus and Tata Harper for treating us like queens. Special thanks to Melissa from Tata Harper for putting everything together. Fabulous job! If you’re in the Atlanta area make sure you stop by the Tata Harper counter and ask for Melissa. Tell her Trina from Baby Shopaholic sent you!
