September is childhood cancer awareness month. Supporters in Atlanta and 60 other cites joined St. Jude to help end childhood cancer with their annual walk/run. This year I had the honor to serve as a chairperson on the board for this event. The walk/run may have only been in existence for a few years, but over 2500 people participated in the Atlanta walk and raised close to $300,000!
The energy of the sponsors and participants was amazing. Everyone worked so hard to make the Atlanta Walk/Run amazing! Here is a short video so you can get an idea of how it went down in Atlanta.
