I’m looking for a change. I’ve been wearing extensions for years. They are easy to maintain, convenient and my hair (weave) always looks good. But I’m kind of over it (for right now). I need a new do! I want a style that I can wear with my natural hair.
I’m leaning towards the style of the moment, the Bob. I know everyone is wearing them. All the ladies look super classy and put together. I’m thinking that if a long bob I will still be able to wear my infamous high buns and rock the curls. Since my hair isn’t thick, I feel a shoulder length bob would be the best look for my natural hair. I’m leaning towards a bob like Zoe Saldana (bottom left) and Keri Hilson.

February 18, 2014 at 5:28 pmI currently have a “mini” jet black bob, I’m in the awkward stage of growing it out but I love the bob, and its easy. I don’t put direct heat on my hair so its always rollersets for me and they keep the cut looking full and healthy.

I love bobs, they are so elegant, I grew up with one…but I don’t know. I’m scared to do it…but I’m also tired of looking like everyone else in Miami with the long long locks. Of course, mine didn’t look like any of these but I’m finally loving the shorter look. I have long, natural hair and so I just got bobbed weave. Hair is just something I don’t have time for, so you could totally do the look with a weave if you want. That way you’re not dealing with the elements or flat ironing or curling your own hair to death.
