Last Thursday I attended the 1st Annual Pretty Girls Rock event benefiting The Love Offering Foundation that helps to raise awareness of health and wellness for those affected by debilitating illness such as heart disease, cancer, diabetes, etc.
The dress is Rachel Roy. This dress is really drappy, you have to see it in person to appreciate it! I am carrying a vintage Gucci clutch.
Actually not sure of the brand of the shoes but LOVE them! Got them from my “Shoe Guy” only $30! I know you guys are thinking, this girl is always rockin some cheap shoes! I sure do! I have no problem rocking $25 shoes with a thousand dollar handbag : ) I like funky shoes and different styles, so I don’t like to spend a ton of $$$ on shoes I may only wear a few times. I TRY my best to pick the ones that don’t look too cheap….
Don’t get me wrong I still want my Louboutins! and I do have some nice ones that I will keep forever.
What is your take on buying shoes? Do you buy shoes to last or Do you buy to last one night???

April 27, 2011 at 11:40 amI have to go for comfort on shoes. I bought a $200 pair of shoes last year and I didnt even leave the house in them. My feet hurt so bad after 15 minutes, I will never wear them again:(

April 27, 2011 at 11:22 pmI love the look! I want to go to an event!!! Have to be on the look out in Memphis! That’s one thing I miss about Chicago… always something to attend! I like shoes! So I have to like them to buy them. I am kind of skeptical about real cheap shoes as I bought a pair a couple of years ago and the heel broke in public! So I tend to get more quality shoes than low budget unless of course it is only for one day!
