This summer has been pretty quiet. That’s because we MOVED! In case you missed our announcement on this IG post, I uprooted my life and the girls and moved back to my hometown, CHICAGO! I know these seems like out of nowhere but it was planned over a year ago, I just kept it on the low.
When the school year ended for the girls, we packed up our things and headed to Chicago.
I’m sure you’re wondering why I moved… My answer, why not? WE needed a change. I work for myself and I was renting a house that we’ve been living in since my divorce. Yes, my kids father is still in Atlanta, but to hinge our life for a few days a month that may or may not happen, we said peace out.
We’re pretty settled in. The girls started school already and are making new friends. We’re also enjoying hanging out with my side of the family.
I’ll share more soon. We’re just taking our time getting adjusted before we hit the gas.
