Natural Hair Pillowcases

January 4, 2018

I’m so excited to share this product that will help all my naturalista minis and mommies.  To this day I still get emails asking how to grow out bald spots on babies and toddlers. Bald spots are usually due to babies rubbing out their hair because they spend a lot of time on their back.  Just like us women, the texture of our hair against cotton is not a good mix.  It can cause bald spots and breakage.  A friend told me before I had Peyton that I needed to make sure she kept silk or satin behind her head.  Where do I find that?  I stole a few of Mister’s silk pocket squares and used that for Peyton when she was a baby.  It wasn’t cute but it helped.  When I had Harper, our friends from MM Blankies sent us one of their fabulous satin blankets that she could lay on and be wrapped in.  I’m happy to share with you MM Blankies newest genius product, designer satin pillowcases.  So the fabulous faux fur pillows you see also double to help protect natural hair.  Just flip them over to sleep.

No more beauty supply, dingy, satin-like pillowcases.  MM Blankies has several colors and fabrics to choose from.

These pillowcase from MM Blankies are genius!   Not only are they less than the price of a faux fur throw pillow but functional.  I have not washed it yet but I would recommend gentle wash and air dry.  I know these pillowcases are for the babies but I’m thinking I should add a few to my bed so I can have bonnet free nights.  Mister would be happy about that.  You can learn and shop MM Blankies HERE.

*These pillowcases were gifted to me by MM Blankies.  Thoughts and opinions are my own.
