  • My first time vending with @supermomculture at @craftsavvymarket today. I had so many moments leading up to today that I told myself that it would be a lot easier to just quit and not have a both. But then I thought, if it was easy, everyone would be doing it. Just remember when you have an idea that starting is half the battle. It won’t be easy but it can be done! Thank you @craftsavvymarket for having me today. Mr and the girls helped out so much. Thank you to everyone that came by to support! I have no clue who the little girl is on the left but she stayed with us the whole day.

  • Nobody:
Me: Let me clean out all my kitchen cabinets along with everything else going on 😆. I actually enjoy decluttering (my spaces, not others). Swipe ->. My mind feels at peace when spaces are clean and organized. Ever since @pinchofhelp did my master bathroom, I’ve been on a mission. I’m not good like her but I stalk her IG daily for all her tips and before & afters. My kitchen is (almost) ready for Thanksgiving! Please send positive vibes on the rest of the projects we have going on 🙏🏿. Details on the blog. Link in profile #heytrinashome #babyshopahome
  • Doing a mini extreme home makeover just in time for the holidays! Shout out to Mr for speaking my love language and getting ish done in the house (wife porn as @snackswithjack calls it 😆). This past wknd he knocked out our 20ft foyer and hung my new chandelier! It was like watching the Berlin Wall come down 🙌🏾. Also thankful that we didn’t have any incidents on this scaffold 😓. I was so happy when they picked it up cuz my nerves were so bad. We still have a lot more to do but we’re chipping away. Make sure you watch my stories for updates.
  • Peyton as Cecilia from Decendants. Instead of a wig I used a clip in ponytail. I may use it in the future for myself if I’m feeling feisty. She went to school as Run DMC because she was unsure if they could dress up or not. Can your kids dress up at school?

Black Girl Sunscreen Winter Skincare + BOGO Free Deal

November 23, 2018

This post was sponsored by Black Girl Sunscreen. Thoughts and opinions are my own.

Happy Black Friday!  Today I wanted to share an amazing deal with you that will protect your skin and your pockets!  Black women have been blessed with melanin but we still need to protect it.  I’ve been using sunscreen since I was a kid but back then, sunscreens did not have a formula for brown skin like Black Girl Sunscreen.  My old school sunscreen looked liked I rubbed toothpaste on my face and body.  I wanted to share a few winter skin care tips with you and a special BOGO FREE deal from Black Girl Sunscreen for Black Friday to Cyber Monday.  Keep reading for tips and Black Girl Sunscreen BOGO FREE code.

First, let’s stop thinking we don’t need sunscreen because we are brown. We don’t get sunburned at the rate of our fair-skinned counterparts but we can still burn and are still at risk for the harmful damage that the suns rays can cause.  Using SPF/sunscreen helps prevent skin cancer, melanoma, and sunburn.

We also still need sunscreen in the winter.  Just because it’s cold doesn’t mean the suns rays aren’t still harmful. During the cold winter months, you can use Black Girl Sunscreen on your face and body parts that are exposed to the suns rays.

TIP: Black Girl Sunscreen works great as a facial moisturizer before adding makeup.

TIP: Using sunscreen can help to prevent wrinkles, dark spots, hyperpigmentation and help to even your complexion.

TIP: Wash your face every night before bed and use a night cream.

Unlike most sunscreens on the market, Black Girl Sunscreen rubs into the skin ultra sheer.  There is no white residue.  Black Girl Sunscreen is fragrance-free and infused with natural ingredients like jojoba, cocoa, carrot juice oil and avocado.

TIP: You can use Black Girl Sunscreen as an all over moisturizer because it’s packed with natural moisturizing ingredients.

My last tip is to STOCK UP on Black Girl Sunscreen!  Use code BABYSHOPA to take advantage of Black Girl Sunscreen Black Friday to Cyber Monday deal of BOGO FREE!!!!  This offer is unheard of!  I purchased my first tube of Black Girl Sunscreen Black for full price back in the spring because I loved it so much, so you guys need to take advantage of this deal ASAP.  I wouldn’t be surprised if they sold out.  Click HERE and make sure you get this amazing deal.  Use code BABYSHOPA.  This special deal is over on Monday, November 26th.

What do you differently to take care of your skin in the winter?
