Weekend Style: New Hat + Black Eye

November 5, 2012

I hope everyone had a good weekend!  I know a lot of people are trying to recover from Sandy!  You guys are in my prayers!

This weekend was the CBWW Expo!  The Mommy and Kids fashion show featuring Gap and Hooked by Ima went down this Saturday!  It was the cutest thing ever!  I can’t wait to share details with you!  To say I am exhausted is an understatement.  Please pray that Peyton sleeps through the night a few days so I can try and catch up!

Speaking of my dah-ling Peyton, last week she had a sty, this week she sporting a new accessory on here other eye!

Before we get into the details on the eye…. Peyton is rocking a custom hand made Hooked by Ima mini slouch hat!  This hat was actually featured in the fashion show this weekend.  I love this hat so I had to purchase it!  Hooked by Ima also has them in adult sizes!  I have one in brown!  Check out our Hooked by Ima review HERE.

Peyton got this nice shiner on Thursday evening during the fashion show rehearsal.  She was running around with the other kids and ran into a table!  Her eye turned blue immediately.  Poor baby!  But she wasn’t even phased by it.  She won’t let us ice it so we are just letting it heal on it’s own.  It’s fading pretty fast.  Last week her teachers were asking about her sty I told you about last week (HERE), then I had to go in on Friday explaining how she got a black eye hoping that they don’t think I beat my child!  If your child gets injured do you feel like people look at you like your a bad mom?  I got a few *side eyes* since she got it.

Anyways…don’t you love her Hooked by Ima hat?

She is the cutest! I am in love with the first pic. Yeah those folks always assuming something. Don’t mind the side eyes! Just don’t let her run into anything anymore! You know that’s what penny said on Good Times… She ran into to something! Lol!
