  • The before doesn’t usually look like this. Mister (bless his heart) has been cleaning the kitchen more and this is how he puts away the pans. I didn’t say nothing because I’m not trying to discourage him 😩. I just cleaned it up. He said it looks much better 😒. Looks like as long as he’s cleaning the kitchen I’ll just tidy up ever couple of days. We were supposed to get a custom system installed in this large corn cabinet but I never got around to it. This will do for now. PS, music stopped but you get the point 😆#quarantinecleaning #kitchenorganization
  • I miss outside 😩! If you know me in person you know I’m a extra-extrovert. Being out with the people shaking hands & kissing babies is what I do! I kinda miss finding something cute to wear like this @suakokobetty kimono and shorts look. I think I’m turning into an social media introvert. Y’all know how i feel about introverts 😒😂. I don’t post as much as I used because I like the human energy. I sure we will get passed this! How are y’all coping socially? I’ll add a swipe up to my look in my stories.

So proud of how Peyton handled these few months. She picked up a part time job with @supermomculture and got all her work done. In pray they will return in the fall 🙏🏿. 5th grade here we come!

  • For Mother’s Day Sunday my mom would have a new sharp suit laid out and she would have me run around Atlanta looking for a hat to match. I miss my mom so much. I find comfort in knowing that the very best parts of me are because of her. I feel her with me every day. 🌹
  • You guys have held me down this past year! Words of encouragement and supporting @supermomculture. I want to say thank you! I know I’ve been quiet but I’ve been working getting orders out. Tonight we are going to celebrate US at 8pm on @supermomculture Live! Grab your drink of choice and join me! #ipartiedatsupermothersday #clubsupermomculture
  • Meet my team... Peyton! Seriously, this little girl works so hard. She works hard in everything that she does but I didn’t expect her to work hard for me. She’s not half working either! She catches me making mistakes sometimes. She even wants to take on more responsibility. She will work long hours with me (because she does get paid) and we chat and laugh while working. I hope this continues because she is going to be a beast in business as an adult because she’s is getting firsthand experience at 9. Proud mama! What’s that scripture about “train up a child” .... y’all know the rest 😂. Also, head to the site for white or black tees available now!
  • Taco Tuesday on Cinco de Mayo 🙌🏾 Yes Please! I told Peyton to look up what Cinco de Mayo was and she grabbed the sombreros I brought them from my MX trio earlier this year when traveling was a thing. Mamas got Margaritas on deck! 🍹 Who else is having a special taco Tuesday?

Weekend Style: Happy September

September 4, 2012
Happy September and Happy late  Labor Day!  This post is coming to you from NYC!  Yes, I am back in New York City!  Thanks to my girl Tamara from Blitz and Glam!  She invited me to join her for a special project she is doing with the NFL!  So proud of Tamara!  And it just so happens to be New York Fashion week!  You know I had to come!  Even though I dreaded leaving my baby doll, Mister thought it would be a good idea for me to come since it was during fashion week. This weekend was full of hugs and kisses with my love bug Peyton!

Peyton killed it in her chambray shirt from Target.  This skirt is from an Etsy shop we got last fall, I can not remember the name.  I also forgot where the headband came from as well.  I know I suk!  Shoes are from Payless.

I won Peyton’s necklace from a PJ Tuttles giveaway.

This chambray shirt is one of my favorite pieces in Peyton’s closet.  Do you have a Chambray top yet?  She looks like such a big girl!  Boy do I miss her!  This will be the last time I leave my baby for a while.  How do you moms that travel for work cope with leaving your kids?

At first, when I became a new mom, It was so hard to leave her and go to work. After, a year of the constant pull to be home, I stopped working outside the home (one of the best decisions I have made). Everyone has to do what is best for them. My daughter is 9 and she doesn’t’t need me as much as she once did. Believe me, it may be hard to leave the “lil one” at first but we all need a welcomed break from “Mommyhood” from time to time. For the past three summer’s, I let my daughter spend two months out of town with her grandparents (she loves it) and that gives my husband and I a chance to reconnect and focus on us as individuals. 🙂

Peyton is working it! Love her outfit. Madison needs that top in her closet. I have one and it’s certainly a must-have staple in any girls closet. Have fun in NYC!

Such a cute outfit on your baby girl!

These days I see them so much that I welcome the break when I have to travel. With my first one, I was so miserable when I left him. I kept pics of him in the glove compartment, on my desk, in my purse… everywhere! I still miss them when I travel, but I have a pic of the whole family on my business card, so I see them all the time!
