• After going to Detroit for 24hrs last wknd, coming back to get the girls ready for school on Monday, Harper’s Taco Tuesday birthday celebration and shipping orders, mama tide (tired). Why must I always do the most?! I guess I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t 😆. I can’t wait till the weather cools off so I can rock my @supermomculture sweats full time 🙌🏾. Grab your hoodie & matching sweats cuz y’all know when the temp drops they’re going fly 💫🦸🏾‍♀️ Link in profile
  • Thank you guys for all the birthday wishes. Harper had a great action packed day. She still has a big birthday party next week with her school friends. I hope this doesn’t turn her into one of those Birthday people who celebrate their birthdays all month long 😂. If that’s you raise your hand 🙋🏾‍♀️ 😂.
  • Happy 4th Birthday Harper Mae! Doesn’t it seem like I just had her?! Harper is such a joy. She’s the funniest little person I know. She’ll be sweet but will go off in a second if you do something wrong. She will even go off on someone for her big sister (and Peyton let’s her 😆). She loves music and drawing. We enjoy watching her grow daily. I’m excited to watch this little girl shine! She requested Taco Tuesday dinner tonight and her party is next weekend. So the party will continue.
  • My squad secured new bags! We’re rocking our new @zenkoleather pink croc bags. #Zenko makes quality leather bags for the whole family, including the man in your life. Don’t tell Peyton or Harper buy I may borrow their bags when I need something small 🤫. I’m always happy to share a fashion moment with my girls. Details on our outfits on the blog.
  • I keep forgetting I have a beautiful bathroom to take mirror selfies in 😆. I wanted to share these #targetstyle sweats that match my neon green @supermomculture hoodie. Couple PSAs. Large neon hoodies are sold out. Denim hats and beanies (only a few left) are in stock. Also, check the size charts. Hoodies and tees are unisex which means men sizes. I’m wearing a medium in this pic. I normally wear a large in women’s for my 👀. All sales are final. If I do returns I would have to charge shipping both ways. I know y’all don’t want that. If you have questions please leave them below or dm. Thanks for all the love and support #supermomculture
  • Happy Birthday to my mom in heaven. Last year we celebrated her 80th birthday. I remember her saying she wanted to do it big because she never had a party and she said this might be the last one. I’m grateful that she was able to witness how much everyone loved and adored her. This was the last time I physically saw her. We flew back the next day. I miss her so much!
  • It’s back to school time and this #TBT pic by @creativesoulphoto has been in heavy rotation. I think Peyton was like 3 or 4. I wasn’t even pregnant with Harper. Still one of my faves. #creativesoulphoto #creativesoul
  • Mood when all kids have went back to school! Why does it feel like they are only there for 45 mins before you have to head back to pick them up 🤷🏾‍♀️. #Supermom 🧢 are back in stock. Claim yours before they are gone! Link in profile.
  • I’m taking my talents international with @momredefined #momentinparadise in Cancun, Mexico in January! We’ll get to relax, have sessions, drink & eat...w/o kids! We deserve this! I’ve met most of these women and person and we’re all a good time 😆. Grab your mommy friends or roll solo (we won’t bite) come on! Reserve your spot with $75 (deposit) before Sept 15 use code TRINA75. Link in profile. Who’s rolling out with me? 🙋🏾‍♀️ 🍹 ✈️ ☀️
  • I went dressed as a zebra to hang with my friend and fave designer @suakokobetty at @29rooms. I’ve been on the move so much it was cool to just hang out. I’ve been going hard but I have a feeling something amazing is on the horizon. Until it happens you can find me cleaning my house and up to my eyeballs in laundry. 💫 Outfit was $10 at HM
  • #AD What do your kids eat for lunch? It can be a struggle. With help from @walmart, I’m sharing #backtoschool lunch tips. Link in profile for tips and this cute outfit Harper is rocking from #walmart or use @liketoknow.it . #gobackbig http://liketk.it/2Eyl2 #liketkit @liketoknow.it #LTKkids

Wearapy with Jeannie Mai

April 19, 2012

I want to introduce you guys to my new BFF that met the Atlanta Apparel Mart show, Jeannie Mai!  You better know who she is!  Well if you don’t she is the star and host of How Do I Look on the Style Network and a style expert!  She has such a great spirit and a positive message who would not want to be her BFF!

How cute is she!  We look like old pals.

Can I borrow that belt?

With Jeannie and Eboni from The Fashionista Next Door.

It was awesome meeting Jeannie Mai and hearing her speak.  Jeannie has her own style psychology called Wearapy.  Here are some more details on Wearapy:

Wearapy is her wardrobe styling treatment to use colors and textures to enhance one’s emotions, influence actions, and to set the tone for various situations in one’s life

  • Instead of having caffeine for energy, dress up your look with a bold yellow or bright pinks. These colors bring excitement and attract energy in people around you as well as yourself.
  • When dealing with depression, look to crisp shades of white to symbolize a fresh start. Blue is also a healing color, with powers to clarify and cleanse the senses.
  • If you are struggling with confidence issues or you are feeling unnoticed, try swapping your neutral lip shades with a bold red or warm berry. This attracts the audience to everything you have spoken.

As a Wearapist, Jeannie teaches women that life’s scenarios call for specific Wearapy tactics.
Such as:

  • Job interviews: Black to represent boldness, green to bring energy and excitement,    yellow for warmth and joy.
  • Date nights or first impressions: Peach for comfort and open communication, velvet or cashmere for romance.
  • Public speaking or large group events: Purple to convey royalty and confidence, reds to attract and draw attention.
This is some awesome information!  I never thought colors of clothing had so much power.  Now I totally get it!

Here are a few more pictures of my Saturday morning at the Apparel Mart Show with Eboni. I am wearing a See by Chloe shirt from Neiman Marcus with Gap bootcut jeans.

With Adrienne, editor of Sadiddy Magazine.  We did not all plan to wear high buns on the same day!

Check out our cute shoes!  My shoes are by Liliana and of course I got them from my shoe guy!  I thought these were super fun wedges.

I had too much fun at the Atlanta Apparel Mart Show and meeting Jeannie Mai!  Too bad I had to jet to get to a birthday party.
