September is childhood cancer awareness month. I have the honor of serving as a board chair for my second year for the annual St. Jude Walk/Run in Atlanta on September 23. I’m very passionate about St. Jude because childhood cancer can happen to any of our children. St. Jude families never receive a bill for treatment, housing or food. They enable parents to focus on their children while they are fighting and getting treatment. I’ve teamed up with Kendra Scott Gives back for a fun night of shopping, sips, and sweets on September 8th at the Avalon Store. Kendra Scott will be donating 20% of proceeds to St. Jude. August 25, 2017 at 9:26 amI love St. Jude as well. This past spring I coordinated a trike-a-thon for my son’s PreK. The school raised over $6K for this worthy cause. Interestingly enough, I just purchased my first KS piece. I’ll definitely come support this effort.
