I’ve had my Indique extensions in for almost a month, even though it feels like I just got them. I was way over due for a wash. To be honest, I was scared! What will the curls look like? Will they stay in or wash out? Will it get crazy frizzy or tangle up? With everything going on with my mom and getting ready for BlogHer I didn’t have the time to go to my stylist to have her do it. So I said… F it (not really) and did it myself.
I started by washing my hair in the shower using EDEN Bodyworks Jojoba Monoi shampoo and conditioner.
Above picture is how my hair looked immediately after the wash before detangling.
I rubbed about a quarter size of the EDEN Curl Defining Creme in my hands and distributed it all over my hair and the Indique hair. I tried to make sure I didn’t use too much because I didn’t want the hair to get weighed down. I used the EDEN Glaze Edge Gel to get those baby hairs right.
This is my hair after combing through it with a wide tooth comb. As you can see my curls popped right up! The hair was a breeze to comb through and minimal shedding.
This is my hair the next morning. Curls poppin! I didn’t twist it or anything. I just rubbed the EDEN Curl Defining Creme on it and combed it out. I did sleep on my Hair Routine Pillow Bonnet (HERE). I’m so excited that the EDEN Bodyworks products work great with this curly look! The Glaze Edge Gel is the bomb.com!
What do you use to maintain your extensions?
*This post is sponsored by EDEN Bodyworks. I received the Indique hair for review purposes. Thoughts on both products are my own.
