The older I get I realize that I need to back away from these teeny bopper cheap stores. My nerves frayed while shopping in these stores with all the “OMG”, “Totes” and giggling going on. I’m in the fitting room trying on things that don’t fit and asking myself “What am I doing here”. Moving forward, my goal is to focus on quality and not quantity. Every grown woman needs to own quality pieces of classic wardrobe essentials like a pair of nice jeans, a great handbag, sweaters and the list goes on. One thing I’ve always wanted to have in my closet was something Cashmere! Once you touch some good cashmere you know why people over pay for this luxury material. If you are coveting luxurious cashmere and silk pieces for your grown woman wardrobe for a realistic price, Everlane has you covered!

I felt like such a lady in this look. I can’t wait to style this cardigan for the spring with white jeans and a tee. A cashmere cardigan can be worn all year long and you can keep it forever! In addition to the luxurious cashmere, Everlane also has quality tee’s, silk, shirts and bags for men and women.
Everlane is an online retailer with a philosophy like no other. Everlane’s approach to providing the best quality fabrics to shoppers like you and I is Radical Transparency. Everlane believes that the customer should know the cost to make an item and will show you their mark-up. Because Everlane is an online retailer, they pass the savings of not having a physical store on to the customer. Marvelous!
Do you shop for quality or quantity? What are some of you favorite investment pieces. Head over to check out the wallet friendly pieces from Everlane.

February 4, 2014 at 6:24 pmI have always shopped quality over everything. I see people wearing cute stuff from f21 or HM but I think how long can I actually have that. So I buy what’s going to last. See it as an investment. My Burberry trench will never go out of style.

February 4, 2014 at 6:52 pmThis is a great look- an easy go to. 🙂 Quality for everlasting things… tin stores for a la mode looks.

February 4, 2014 at 10:43 pmThis is a really great look. I tend to focus on quality verse anything else. I see stuff at F21 & HM that looks great then I think how long will it actually last. Like does a F21 blouse really need to be dry cleaned? Nope. I am currently thinking of buying a Burberry Trench. Will get your thoughts.

February 5, 2014 at 2:39 amI am with you on the clothes thing! I will occasionally buy items from those places but for the most part I try to stick to the “grown woman” stores (that sounds so harsh). Buying a quality item from those stores will last season after season where some of the teeny stuff may not last 2 wears!! Love the cardigan! Very cute!

February 7, 2014 at 1:37 pmGIRL! I was thinking the SAME thing!! While you probably won’t EVER get me out of H&M, I’m all about mixing and matching now adays. I’m going to focus on hitting those amazing j.Crew, and banana republic sales instead of hauling my A$$ off at these cheapo teenie bopper stores full of crap that falls apart on one wash. I may need to try cashmere soon, too! Thanks for the tip, and as always you look fab!
