What Does American Beauty Mean to You? #SuaveAmericanBeauty

September 22, 2015

After having a little girl, I realize how much influence the women in their lives have on their views about beauty.  The standards are set by what they see.  I do my best to encourage Peyton to set her own standard. suave american beauty

To me, American beauty is doing what makes you happy and feel good.  Whether it’s wearing your hair natural, straight, extensions, purple or blue… I say go for it!  Do you boo! Of course Peyton is 5 so she can’t do it all, but with in reason : ).  Suave and Kroger want you to share what American Beauty means to you for a chance to win a $250 gift card to Kroger and save some coin on Suave.

I love this picture of P! Frame it for her :-). American Beauty means accepting the individual beauty of everyone. We are all beautiful in our own way. Each of us has our own unique personality, style and beauty. In America, we don’t (or shouldn’t) be afraid to embrace who we are. It’s about self love as well as respect of others.
