  • Didn’t I just have Harper?! Geez! My baby’s 1st day of PreK 3 (yes, she’s 3!) was today and she basically acts like she runs the school. I think she was happy to have time away from mommy after the long summer. It was nice to have a few hours to myself. Now need to sit down and plan out all this time I have available (3.5 hrs) 😩. Mr swears the girls are gone 8 hrs a day and have so much free time 😒. #firstdayofschool

  • Came back from an amazing weekend in Durham, NC at the @theprevailingwoman conf back to Supermom mode. @letoyaluckett snatched all the edges when she said “If you are not kind to yourself, why would you expect someone else to treat us better than we treat ourselves?” My biggest takeaway is that I need to take care of myself so I can continue to be a supermom.   • Sent my baby off to 4th grade this morning. She decided to wear a top she already had and she picked this hair style. She’s also excited to have a black woman teacher and principal. I talked about the balancing act on a panel with @_kayalex_ & @themillennialmamma. The consensus is there is no balance.   • Did you know I had sisters? Here are my two older sisters (far left and far right), my niece and my beautiful mom. I don’t think I talk about my sisters enough since people assume I don’t have any. I also have an older brother but he’s 😜. I’m the baby. We definitely don’t agree on a lot of things but when you mess with one of us, you’ll get the wrath from all of us. My #rideordies #nationalsisterday
  • So it’s #nationalsistersday or something like that. My girls are at the age where everything results in a fight, like wrestling match fights. But when one gets in trouble the other is sad. Harper is already a ride or die sister. If Peyton gets in trouble, Harper takes it upon herself to tell us off and that we need to apologize. The funniest thing.
