This is not the best quality of picture but the lighting was not the best outside the auditorium. Call me Trina “McCorney” but I wore my Rachel Zoe Camilla Blouse to Lucky FABB. I wonder if she noticed? Jacquard tweed pants, Christian Louboutin shoes, Forever 21 Belt, Pretty Girl Glam earrings and Kate Spade bangle.
Rachel Zoe was interviewed by Lucky Editor and Chief, Brandon Holley. My reason for purchasing a ticket is Rachel Zoe! I think she is amazing at what she does and she has the best personality. Listening to her talk was like watching the show. She spoke a lot about being an mother, wife and juggling the business. I have some great videos on her talking about motherhood and fashion that I will share soon. I love her even more after seeing her in person. Her best piece of advice was to be nice to people. Loves it!
LC looked like a doll and perfectly put together! When she hit the stage she seemed VERY uncomfortable! So uncomfortable that I wanted to carry her off the stage to put her out of her misery! After she warmed up a bit during the Q + A, you can tell she is a very smart and hardworking lady. The shoes she is wearing are from her line at Kohl. Super cute!
First Panel: The Big Picture, Bloggers as Entrepreneurs. Moderator Lauren Sherman, Leah Chernikoff from Fashionista, Annie Georgia Greenberg from Refinery 29, and Leandra Medine from Man Repeller (. They talked about how you can talk something small and make something big by diversifying your content and staying true to yourself.
Panel: Amplify Your Brand, Using Social Media to Gain Recognition. Susan Lyne, Chairman of Gilt Groupe, Aliza Licht of DKNY, Erica Domesek of PS-I Made This‘ and FEED‘s Lauren Bush. They talked about engaging and networking via social media.
Panel: The Next Wave, Fashion and Technology together. CFDA’s Steven Kolb, Yoox CEO Federico Marchetti, Creative Artist Agency’s Mitch Grossbach, and High Line Venture Partners’ Shana Fisher. They talked about Social Shopping, Affiliate programs, apps and what’s next.
I like this conference because it was dedicated to fashion. Hearing from the industry leaders got me to thinking what I am doing on this blog and where I would like it to go. If you ever go to Lucky Fabb or IFB make sure you bring your Fashion A Game! These ladies were decked out! I mean, I wanted to shop of the backs of these ladies! There was always a roar of “OMG, love your shoes”, “Cute Pants”, “Is that Prada”, “I would die for that jacket”.
More to come from Rachel Zoe and the SWAG (bananas!). Have you been to a Luck Fabb conference? Thinking about going in the future?
