Summer just started and it feels like it’s flying by. I know I keep talking about juggling two kids at home this summer but it can be rough. I’m trying my best to finish up projects in my house, manage this blog and shuffle Peyton back and forth to her gymnastics practice (did I tell y’all she made the team?). Our family doesn’t have much time to be in the “moment”. What works for us is to cherish each family outing, whether big or small. Something as simple as enjoying frozen drinks on a Sunday afternoon. Packing our insta camera, the family headed to Jittery Joe’s at the Ritz to enjoy some Big Train beverages.
To freeze this particular summer moment, we snapped pics while enjoying Big Train with our instant camera. When the pictures came out of the camera, you should have seen how Peyton’s face lit up. It made our family outing even more memorable. We may not be taking trips to the beach but at least we are with each other. Peyton has photos that she can display in her room or put in an album to remember.
Back in the day, we only had real pictures to freeze our memories, not some cloud. I still have a box of pictures from my high school and college years. Instead of searching the “cloud” for memories, why not freeze the moments? How do you “freeze” moments with your family? You can learn about Big Train beverages HERE.
