Fly Shoes Money Aint a Thang Shoeaside

$8000 Shoes!

January 17, 2012

While watching one of my reality shows, Love and Hip Hop, Rapper Jim Jones buys a new car and his fiance gets mad.  Then he points out that she just spent $6,000 on some shoes!!!!  Really???  I love some fly shoes, but what shoes are worth $6000?  That shoe would have to come with $5500 in the box!

So I was on a mission to find out what these uber expensive shoes looked like.  So while at Lenox mall I went in the store called Gregory’s.  Beautiful shoes!  I discovered Italian designer Gianmarco Lorenzi.  I know I may be late but check them out…

Lorenzi Crystal Flower Platform $4295

Lorenzi Crystal Fringe Sandal $7995

Lorenzi Crystal Extended Platform, $2795

I think I saw Adrienne Maloof of RHOBH wearing these on the show.

Lorenzi Open Toe Platforms $2495
Combination of the beautiful shoe and the price had me light headed!  I don’t think these were the shoes that Chrissy purchased for $6K.  I am going to need for them to have a 95% off sale so I can get some!  If you were a “Baller” what is the most you would pay for a shoe?

    $5500 in the box LOL!!!!

Honestly if I had it like that price would be no factor…I mean having it like that as in Dubai heiress flow…beyond millionaire status -which is just another term for the working rich.

It makes me sad that people spend this much on shoes when there are starving children right here in the U.S. Just sayin. But they have to answer to their Maker when they die so it’s none of my business how they spend their dough. Still.

OMGoodness I’m drooling right now lol all of those are Gorge!! Butto answer the question ok:

WHEN I become a Millionaire I Will Not be spending over a thousand on some shoes that is just RIDICULOUS!! There are children that are hungry w/ no homes, clothes on their backs, or SHOES on their feet, All Over this World that, that money can be spent on I mean that just makes no sense especially to only wear them 1 or 2 times because let’s be honest it is “Against The Law” in Hollywood to be caught in the same thing(shoe) twice.

It’s hard for me to say. I look at those shoes and don’t think they are worth the money. I feel like I’d still be Aldo if I was a baller. But who knows.. I might step my game up a little.. but 6,000 is way too much for a shoe.

I am cheap so I would never spend that much on shoes even if I were to be balling. Plus those heels look weak what if they break or something

Me and my sisters talk about this all the time and we say we don’t think even if we were multi millionaires/billionaires we couldn’t see ourselves spending that kind of money on a shoe (or any accessory)!! Like someone else said in Hollywood or in certain well to do circles you aren’t suppose to wear the same shoe more than twice, so if I was crazy enough to even follow that rule, NO I definitely would never pay $1000 + for shoes. Shoot paying more than $500 is a bit much for me, I can’t wrap my mind around that logic!! If I was crazy enough to buy shoes that cost anywhere near that, I would make those shoes go with EVERYTHING!!! I would sleep, cook, work out, I would even probably bath in them if could get away with it. To me that is just wasting money!! Put that $1000+ to better use.

I can’t even. I mean, that’s doing a whole lot. I don’t know if I’ve ever spend 100 on shoes… If they are over 100 then I hold out for a sale. These would have to be on a super duper sale. Better yet, a clearance!!! LOL!

Girl please!!! I can’t even imagine someone having the audacity to spend that kind of money on shoes in this or ANY economy. SHAMEFUL!!
I bet we will hear of them filing bankruptcy soon.

I would be embarrassed to spend that much on a shoe. They are cute but when would you possibly get that much wear out of them. Even if someone else wanted to pay for them that would be a no! We would pay some interest on my student loans!!!

They are all beautiful, but I don’t own any shoes over $150! I think that’s a lot! lol

I love, love, love shoes but I’d really have a hard time purchasing $6,000 shoes. I think my max would be $900-1,000 if I was ballin!

the last pair are really gorgeous, but I can’t imagine paying $6000 on a pair of shoes you could really only wear maybe once or twice. yikes. lol
