Some driven people say “You’re never too busy. You can make time”. I am too busy! And I don’t have time. In addition to running this beautiful blog that you love : ), I work full-time outside the home, take care of my amazing daughter, attend and host events, cook (on occasion) and try to look put together while doing it. Oh wait, I have a husband too! Mister needs his quality time and “medicine”. I’m tired just thinking about it. Every day is a grind!
Unlike Beyonce, I don’t wake up like this. I need a moment to reflect and pull myself together. Once I pack on my concealer and drop Peyton off at school, I usually roll by McDonald’s. Not only do they have a great breakfast menu, but the McCafé coffee drinks are pretty amazing. For a fraction of the cost (and wait) of the other coffee joints, you can kick off your daily grind. This is just what I need to get ready for my marathon of a day.
If you need some motivation to get your grind on, McDonald’s recently announced Free McCafé® Coffee Week! Yas! Free! This is a national initiative offering customers a free small cup of McCafé® coffee (available during breakfast hours) every day from March 31- April 13, 2014, at participating McDonald’s restaurants.
I encourage you to leave the house a little early stop by McDonald’s to snag a cup of Joe during Free McCafé® Coffee Week and take a moment to reflect on your grind. Remember, the morning isn’t just a start to the day, but it’s an opportunity to embrace the possibilities that come with waking up and heading back into the world.
Feel free to share this announcement with your peeps:
