Good luck with your pregnancy and kiss Peyton for me! xoxo

Hey! Loved your post! I had fibroids for a couple years before I tried getting pregnant. When we did try, for two years, it became apparent they might be the reason for my infertility. They got so bad they were pressing on my bladder so I was using the bathroom like a pregnant person. They had to come out for my personal health and, hopefully to get pregnant. 6 months after surgery we conceived! I was admitted with the plan of laparoscopic surgery, but they were not able to get them that way, so I had open surgery the same way a c-section happens. The recovery from that was much worse than my birth c-section. Not sure what your birth plans are, but if you have c-sec maybe they can get them out then? Having them removed made my life so much better (including the baby making). It’s been 4 years and they have not come back, although there is always a chance. I cannot imagine having them AND a baby in my womb. Very best wishes for a comfortable, healthy pregnancy for you and baby. You and your gal P are adorable by the way!! I will stay tuned and thanks for sharing.

Hang in there. I have fibroids. They just kept an eye on my to make sure they didn’t get too big.

I had a whole other set of issues that had me in bed rest with baby girl!

I found out that I had fibroids when I was pregnant with my son 10 years ago through an ultrasound. They were very small and the doctor told me that they will probably shrink after his birth. Well he came early due to them and was premature 2 months because they were blocking his room to grow. I can go and on but I don;t want to scare you! But be blessed and make sure that you get them removed before they start causing issue in your daily activities like they did with mine. You are welcome to email me and I can share my story with you!

    Good Luck!

    Congrats!
I had fibroids with my daughter. I measured big early on. Experienced degeneration and fibroid related comtractions. I was given mess to stop the contractions which started around 5 months and would continue periodically until I had her. I was eventually put on bed rest until she was born. My largest grew to the size of her head. It was a painful and worrisome pregnancy. However, she was little fighter. The womb was her space, the fibroids were just living in it! Lol. Because of stories I had heard about fibroids and pregnancy, I was proactive with my health care. Found an OB that would monitor the fibroids growth regularly via perionatologist. And if something didn’t feel right I would call my OB or make an appointment to see her. I didn’t care what anyone had to say! All the nurses knew me by name. With prayer and active monitoring, I delivered a healthy 7 lb 2 oz baby at 37 weeks. And I was induced early, which had nothing to do with fibroids. Likely she would have stayed put until my due date!

Typo–was put on medicine, not mess as needed.
