I have not purchased any clothing or shoes since my declaration of no shopping last week. I did break down and buy some jewelry on Friday. What had happen was…. (lol) A girl in my office sells jewelry and she brought them over to me and put all this cute stuff in my face! I couldn’t help it! Now I am reading more magazines and looking around on line. I don’t know if that is helping since I have a running list of what I want. Hopefully I will get over the hump but in the mean time here are some things I can’t wait to buy when I shop again.
Tory Burch Robinson Satchel – I saw this in Luck Mag and I can’t stop thinking about it. I think I could carry it all year.
Mango White Bootcut Jeans – I have some white skinny jeans but I think I need a nice bootcut.
French Connection Jag Stripe Dress– I know stripes is a no no if you are trying to look skinny but for some reason I feel this may break that rule.
New York and Company Peplum tops – only $30!
Delias Floral Skinny Jeans – Yes I am getting on the floral jean train! How cute would this be with the white peplum top!
Rachel Rachel Roy Satchel – I am mad because I don’t have this yet!
Are any of these items on your shopping list? What is your fave?

March 13, 2012 at 5:33 pmAs always, I love your taste. I really love the striped dress and the peplum tops. I have been trying to avoid the floral jeans because it just takes me back to my youth. Can’t believe what I used to wear is old enough to be making a comeback. They do look awfully cute though!

April 30, 2013 at 5:56 pmStripes have a bad rap! Don’t let their reputation stop you from wearing them–thin horizontal stripes can actually make you look slimmer! Just avoid very wide stripes. When they alternate like this, wherever the thin stripes fall will tend to look smaller, and the wide striped areas will look bigger. Since these have a band of thin stripes at the waist, I say go for it. I’m a fashion consultant, so I love to help bust fashion myths. Stripe away, baby!
