Our New York City trip was a few weeks ago but it feels like we just got back. You would have thought Peyton has been to NYC before. She acted like a true New Yorker (but a little nicer). She loved the hustle and bustle, bright lights and tall buildings.

It was still pretty warm in NYC while we were there. Peyton wore this simple comfy outfit and top knot while we ran around the city like mad women. How cute is her Stella & Dot necklace! I mean, I want one too!
I took Peyton to FAO Schwarz on 5th Ave. This child about lost her mind! It was almost too much for her to take in at once.
The highlight was seeing Peyton play on the Big Piano! I can check that off my mommy bucket list. I’m glad I was able to take Peyton to NYC. Next time we go, I will not be taking her by myself! It’s a lot of work being in such a busy city with a busy toddler. We stayed in the busy, Times Square. Pushing that stroller up and own the blocks had my muscles aching. I’m just happy I didn’t loose her.
I guess I’m spoiled living in the burbs because I don’t know how the NYC moms do it everyday! Have you taken your kids to visit NYC?

December 5, 2013 at 3:33 amHey, we’re not all mean! lol I am glad she liked it. I miss NYC so bad but I do enjoy the DC area better for my family. I miss walking around and browsing….never really needing directions. And all the late night restaurant closings. It took me a while to get use to the slower pace. That last shot is my fave.
