We hope everyone had a great weekend! Pretty low key for us for a change! I am happy to announce that we have been 100% Binky Free for 5 days! I think it was studying all those Elmo “Bye Bye Binky” videos. Now we need to tackle sleeping through the night and potty training!
Sorry I am late with Happy St. Patrick’s Day! But here is Peyton showing her spirit!
I don’t know what’s up with all this attitude in this picture!
Now here is my sweet little sugar plum at church on Sunday!
Dress is from Sears and shoes from Target. I figured she needed to wear it before it got too hot!
Flower is from The Hair Bow Company. Details on The Hair Bow Company coming soon!
How did you celebrate St. Patrick’s Day?
For the Mommies, was it hard to get your baby off the binky?

March 18, 2012 at 8:55 pmI love that first photo.
We just moved baby girl from the crib to the big girl twin bed and she is sleeping through the night on a regular basis now. I think that she is more comfortable. Those crib mattresses are very firm (for good reason).
As for the binky, my daughter never really liked it but we gave it to her for a flight when she was 5 months. When we went to the doctor a few months later he said get rid of it. We walked out of his office and never gave it back to her. Don’t get me wrong, it was hard for about a week or so.
We just returned from the St Patrick’s Day parade and lunch with her BFF(and her family).
Beautiful day outside! Enjoy.

March 19, 2012 at 2:43 pmThat first pic is just too much, she’s so cute! We actually took it from her cold turkey! She cried for it for a few days. The first two nights was torture.

March 19, 2012 at 7:11 pmFor me it was hard because Jasmine goes to daycare and the other kids still had their Bobo’s. She NEEDED it for bedtime and I needed her to have it for my sanity. Until she was 15 months I would have it clipped to her clothes. Then it was just for naps and bedtime. When she turned 2 it was a wrap. I knew I had to go cold turkey or she’d be 5 with that Bobo. So I took it and the 1st week was HELL! Then like magic she was over it. She still has her Linus blankie and she uses it for car rides and naps and bedtime. I’m good with that. She can keep that blankie the rest of her life if she needs too but the Bobo had to go. Specially since she talk as good as a 5yr told and shes 2 lol
