I cared for my skin from the inside out with Aveeno® Active Naturals as part of a sponsored post for Socialstars #Aveeno
Just like when I was pregnant with Peyton, my face has taken a turn for the worse. Not only am I wearing a “pregnant” face, but I’m experiencing some new issues that I’ve never had before. I knew I had to change up my skincare routine. Aveeno® Ultra Calming® Foaming Cleanser and Ultra-Calming® Daily Moisturizer SPF 15 has been a miracle worker.
I swear the day after I got a positive pregnancy test, my face totally changed. My face instantly became dry and started peeling like a snake. I continued to use my usual face wash and moisturizer. I would add more moisturizer to the dry patches but it didn’t help.
Since I started using Aveeno® Ultra Calming® Foaming Cleanser and Ultra-Calming® Daily Moisturizer the peeling has stopped.
The Aveeno® Ultra Calming® Foaming Cleanser leaves my face feeling clean and not over-dry. Very easy to rinse away.
I’m usually pretty skeptical about moisturizing products with SPF because they tend to lack the moisture that I need and make my face feel a little sticky. Aveeno® Ultra-Calming® Daily Moisturizer SPF 15 is totally opposite. The Ultra-Calming Moisturizer kicked my dry, peeling skin to the curb without the sticky feeling.
I’m so happy that I tried something new. Sometimes we get stuck on certain products that are not giving us the results we need. It’s ok to change up your products and routines. If you have sensitive skin, I suggest giving Aveeno® Ultra Calming® Foaming Cleanser and Ultra-Calming® Daily Moisturizer SPF 15 a try. Did your skin significantly change after becoming pregnant or having a child?

September 16, 2016 at 2:17 pmHello, thanks for the review. I was on the hunt of some products and kept reading about Aveeno Ultra Calming, but wasn’t sure if I could use since I was pregnant. After reading your your review I will definitely be giving it a try. My skin is suffering from the same issues you discussed. My first pregnancy skin was Flawless, this time around only at 11wks and I’m looking cra-cra lol.

October 8, 2021 at 11:07 amI love Aveeno, but it is NOT safe to use while pregnant. The moisturizer with SPF 15 contains Avobenzone, which is a chemical sunscreen that can interfere with your baby’s nervous system development.
