This past weekend I hosted a small soiree at my home to support Dress for Success Atlanta sponsored by L’eggs. I’ve been up to my eyeballs in kitchen renovations at my home for the last couple of weeks so I was excited to come up for air and hang out with my girls. I swear, the last screw went in my cabinets right before the party started. I know that sounds crazy but I just couldn’t pass up a chance to help other women thrive. I partnered with L’eggs to host a small party at my home to collect clothes for my local Dress for Success. If you’re not familiar with Dress for Success, it is a non-profit who’s mission is to provide women with the support and attire that they need to achieve economic independence. If you follow me on Snapchat (babyshopa), you know we had a great time for a great cause.
I encouraged my guests to pick out their favorite item that they were donating and share a story or words of encouragement to the women that they are helping.
Some of us (including me) couldn’t resist the urge to check out the donations. Like me, most of my girls are shopaholics and a lot of the items still had tags on them.
I’m excited to to drop of these items and several bags of clothes that we collected for Dress for Success.
Each of my guest left my house with a few pair of L’eggs Silken Mist pantyhose.
I may have been running around like a crazy person to pull this party together but it is so worth it. I love helping others in anyway that I can. I encourage you to host a small get together to support your local Dress for Success. It doesn’t take much. I’ll come if you’re pouring drinks.
Our donations help change lives. I appreciate the support that L’eggs provides for such a great cause. Dress for Success is in great need of plus size clothing, control garments and cosmetics. Visit dressforsuccess.org to find a location near you. You know what they say, “When you look good, you feel good.”
