Last night on Bag Ladies Radio show not only did we discuss kids style but we weighed in on Kim K’s maternity fashions! Poor girl is getting ripped apart by the media and social media. I think everyone was excited to see what she would be wearing to cover her bump and this is what she comes up with! I feel bad for her but have you seen what she has been wearing while rocking the bump?

I know she wants to hold on to her “sexy” style as she journeys toward motherhood but she just looks down right uncomfortable to me. That last thing I wanted to do when I was preg is to try and squeeze into a leather pencil skirt! She needs to stop playing and get some maternity clothes! She is wasting her money buying these designer clothes in bigger sizes. Sorry to say, her choices have not been flattering!

March 28, 2013 at 4:46 pmOh, Kim. She is trying hard to HANG onto the sexy, but a prego can be sexy (and comfy!) in a form fitting knit maxi dress!! People will always pick on her bc she’s so public, but I do think this is one time she could tone the sexy down a bit and we’d still love her.
I’m amazed by all of the ankle strapped heels she can wear!! I had cankles at that point and just wanted to sport flats! Ha!

March 28, 2013 at 4:56 pmA hot mess. She looks like a stuffed cooked turkey. With all the high-end maternity lines out there, she chooses to look like this. I don’t know why some women subject their bodies AND babies into these clothes that are not built for maternity.
Maternity wear is soooo not frumpy anymore.

But maybe this is the “highlight” reel and she most of her looks embrace the pregnant form more; it seems too much like she’s trying to pretend she’s not pregnant.

It looks like Kim is trying to be “Mod”, but it’s not working for her new figure. If she wore some regular clothes I think she would be more positively received by her critics.

March 28, 2013 at 5:11 pmThat last look made me scream when she was on Kelly and Michael. Not only was it horrible from the front, the back was straight Michelin Man full of rolls. IT WAS EXTREMELY TOO TIGHT!!! Her stylist should have been fired that day for letting her walk on stage like that. At least give her a sweater. Now, I am all for women glowing in the beauty of their changing body during pregnancy and am not at all afraid of curves but style should not be sacrificed for your vanity. Kim…you still have time to get it right. Call me.

Anyway, although I don’t think the first two outfits were wise choices, I do like to last two outfits a lot. Just because you’re pregnant doesn’t mean you should give up fashion; however, I do see the point that if your stomach is growing to be pretty large early on, you might want to fit some maternity pieces up in there.

When I was pregnant I didn’t want anything over my belly as in a belt or cinched waist but she seems to pull it off even if not every outfit is free flowing like a maxi dress or skirt. I do feel bad for her because of all the hate she seems to get I love me some Kimmy cakes lol

Instead of embracing her pregnancy body shes trying to make it into something its not thats why she wears all off these waist cynching clothing. I never bought a single piece of maternity clothing but i didnt try to squeeze into leather skirts and bodycon dresses. Her stylist (Kanye) needs to be fired lol.
