I’m back with my Glidden Disney Paint room makeover update! I shared with you guys that I would be using the new Glidden Disney Paint to update Peyton’s room (HERE). The Disney paint collection at Walmart features 115 fun colors and 5 cool finishes! I am happy to report that we are making progress! Peyton thinks this is a big art project so we let her take the lead!
We went with a light pink color in the Magnificent Metallic finish! I like this finish because there is no regular painting required. The finish is also the color. The Magnificent Metallic finish looks like nail polish!

This is just one coat of the Magnificent Metallic finish! You can tell that the coverage of the Glidden Disney paint is pretty awesome.
Here is a little inspiration for the new Princess Peyton room! I am pretty excited to see how her room will turn out. We will be hard at work purging toys and moving things around. We will be having a Princess + Prince reveal party soon! Can’t wait to share with you guys!
Do you have any tips on making over a child’s room? Wanna help me?

April 24, 2013 at 3:29 pmIt is going to turn out SO cute definitely check out IKEA’s children’s floor they have tons of stuff at affordable prices for kiddie decor, I used one of their less expensive chandelier’s for a girls room that I designed. Also wall art decals are great for artwork! If you have a sewing machine making your own throw pillows will save some money too.

April 27, 2013 at 4:11 pmCan’t wait to see how her princess room turns out. Framing posters of her favorite princesses makes great artwork for the walls. Walmart and the Dollar Tree have great frames that look nice but don’t break the budget. Party City is a great place to look for princess props like crowns and little decorative trinkets.
