To my ladies over 35…. we need to move our bodies. I know you already know this but now, more than ever, we need to be proactive instead of reactive. I’m no trainer or fitness expert but i’ve been consistently working out since high school. Not only does working out improve you mood, it helps maintain bone density, reduces the risk of chronic diseases, improves cardiovascular health, boosts metabolism and above all, you look extra FINE! Soooo what are we doing?
Here are some tips to help you to stay consistent working out.
- Find a workout that you enjoy. You don’t have to do what everyone else is doing. Try different workouts. Maybe even invest in Classpass. I don’t use this service but I know ladies that have.
- Invest in some quality cute workout clothes. Throw those see-thru leggings and ratty tees out asap! My favorite brand is FBF Body.
- Layout workout clothes the night before. Just like going to work or getting ready for school. Don’t make getting to the gym by running around looking for socks and a sports bra.
- Plan your workouts. Look at your schedule and plan your workouts. Put it in your planner, Goggle calendar, and alarms. Treat it like a standing meeting. If someone asks you if you’re busy, yes, you are.
- Socialize!!! IDC if you’re an introvert, talk to the people. Instead of waiting for your bestie that lives across town, build your gym crew.
I posted a full video with more (funny) commentary on the GRAM.
How do you stay consistent?

April 17, 2025 at 4:16 pmI try and workout first thing in the morning after I do the school drop off – everyday. I may take one day off a week. My biggest issue is diet and getting the right amount of protein or hitting macros. Being a vegetarian sometimes it’s difficult. But it seems like I’m always trying to stay in a calorie deficit so that I can drop some pounds too!
